After a long life, our father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Peter Marchenski passed away October 1, 2017 at Hillcrest Place in Brandon, Manitoba. Pete was born February 1, 1921 in Winnipegosis, MB where he spent his early years. With his wife Elsie, he moved to The Pas to work for Booth Fisheries and then the Province of Manitoba Agricultural Credit Corporation. In later years, Pete relocated to Brandon to be closer to family. Pete was predeceased by his wife Elsie and three grandchildren. He is remembered by his daughter Marjorie Sass (Jack) of Brandon and his son Mervyn (Shelagh) of Winnipeg, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Interment beside his wife will take place in The Pas at a later date.
