JASKOW: The death of Peter Jaskow of Central Park Lodge occurred at his residence on Monday, May 17, 2004. Peter was born in Brandon, one of ten children born to Alex and Margaret Jaskow. He received his education in Brandon and in 1943 enlisted with the Canadian Armed Forces. He served in the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders. Following his discharge in 1946, he returned to Brandon where he was employed in the building construction trades. He is survived by his two sisters and two brothers; Mary (Ken) Holloway and Helen Jaskow of Regina, Frank (Jean) Jaskow of Kelowna, BC and Steve (Marlene) Jaskow of Brandon. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex and Margaret; brothers, Bruce, Tony (Peggy), John and Mike and a sister, Ann (Tom). The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Michael Skliros will officiate. Private family interment will be held in the veteran's section of the Brandon Cemetery.
