Pearl Edith Treleaven entered into rest on Wednesday, February 17, 1999 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Pearl was born in Brandon on August 30, 1924. She was employed with Famous Players Theatres for fifty-one years. She was honoured for being the first woman manager in western Canada. Pearl was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Lily Treleaven, a nephew Barry Yaworski and a brother-in-law Arthur Archibald. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters; June Yaworski (Joe) of Brandon; Grace Archibald of Winnipeg and a brother Reg Treleaven (Shiela) of Summerland, BC. There are numerous nieces and nephews and also her good friend John. Cremation has taken place. It was Pearl's wish to have a private graveside ceremony, which will take place at a later date.
