It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Owen Bedford on June 15, 2025, at the age of 18. Born on July 12, 2006, in Brandon, Manitoba, he was the cherished son of Robert Bedford and Jennifer Land.

Owen was a loving brother to Jordan (Colby), Thor, Liam and Maci; a proud uncle to his niece, Leighton; and a true friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Owen grew up in Brandon, attending Riverview and King George schools. A recent graduate of Neelin High School (2024), Owen was known for his heart of gold. He was an avid video gamer, spending countless hours immersed in his favorite virtual worlds, where he formed lasting friendships. More than just his gaming skills, his kindness, loyalty, and sense of humor made him an incredible friend and an irreplaceable part of his family.

Though his time with us was far too short, his impact will be felt forever. He was a light to those around him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Owen is also survived by his grandparents, Theresa and Gil Rodger, Sheree and Barry Danley
and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones who will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Victoria Inn – Grand Salon, 3550 Victoria Ave. Brandon, MB, on Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
