PRINGLE: Odetta Razzel Pringle passed away peacefully at Fairview Home on Sunday, October 29, 2006. The Ceremony to Celebrate Odetta's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, Brandon, on Friday, November 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will follow in the Minnewawa Cemetery. PRINGLE: It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Odetta Razzel Pringle (Henke) at Fairview Home on Sunday, October 29, 2006. Mom was born in Medstead, Saskatchewan on September 9, 1928, one of five children of Lydia and Frederick Henke. After the early death of her father, her mother moved the family to BC. Mom met and married Stuart Pringle of Nesbitt, Manitoba. Together they had two sons: James and Donald born in Trail, BC. In 1954, they moved to Nesbitt where they established life on the farm. Two more sons were born, Tom and Frederick. The tragic death of her second son, Donald in 1967 after a motorcycle accident, Mom moved to Selkirk, Manitoba with her two younger sons. She transferred her employment with MTS at Wawanesa to Selkirk. After many years in Selkirk, she moved to Prince George, BC to be near her sister Nonie. Upon her retirement from BC Tel, she returned to Brandon to be near her family. Following the death of her husband Stuart in 1995, Mom sold her home and moved into Parkview Manor. She remained there until December 2005 when her health deteriorated and she required more assistance. She then moved into Fairview Home. Mom was predeceased by her parents; siblings: Eldredge, Beverley, and Rudolf; son Donald; grandson Douglas and husband Stuart. Mom is survived by three sons James (Pat) and children Sylvia and Wesley (Leslie); Tom (Heather) and children Alison, Angela, Mercede; Fred (Patricia) and children Michelle, Daniel (Suzanne), James and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving Mom is sister Nonie (John) Cotts; in-laws Mildred Lind, Ag Down, Connie Mislowski, Harold Pringle and Adelene Henke. The Ceremony to Celebrate Odetta's Life was held at Memories Chapel on Friday, November 3, 2006. Eulogy was given my Heather Pringle. Urn bearers were Jim and Pat Pringle. A private family interment followed in the Minnewawa Cemetery.
