NELSON: Norman Herbert Nelson was born November 21, 1927 in Scandinavia, Manitoba. He received his education at Nedrob School. Norman lived on the family farm and dearly enjoyed his cattle and horses. In 1981, he had to leave the farm due to poor health. Norman received care in various care facilities in Brandon prior to his move in December of 1995 to Dinsdale Personal Care Home where he resided until his death. Norman passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 1999 at the Dinsdale Home. Norman leaves to mourn his brother, John (Ruth); niece Beverlee (Don) Webber; great-nephews Steven and Matthew; nephew Brian (Cheryl) Nelson; and great-niece Pamela. He was predeceased by his father in 1965 and his mother in 1971. Norman was a very quiet person and will be deeply missed by the family. A private funeral service was held at the Dinsdale Personal Care Home with Capt. Graham Brown officiating. Pallbearers were: Don Webber, Steven Webber, Matthew Webber, and Brian Nelson. Interment took place in Danvers Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
