DECHKA: Nick Dechka of Brandon, Manitoba passed away on Friday, December 3, 1999 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Nick was born in Brandon on December 18, 1932 to Fred and Kay Dechka. He is survived by three children: Jeff (Laura) Dechka and Susan (Grant) Slessor all of Calgary and Jan (Doug) Azure of Grand Forks, North Dakota; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Walter (Elaine) Dechka, two sisters Jean (Ernest) Beaudin and Irene Moerike; many nieces and nephews. Nick was predeceased by his parents and one brother-in-law. A private ceremony will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Nick may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 415 - 1st St., Brandon, MB, R7A 2W8.
