DYDY: The death of Nettie Dydy, widow of the late Philip Dydy, occurred at the Assiniboine Centre, Brandon on Monday, March 20, 2000. Nettie is survived by two daughters: Anne (Jack) Cochrane and Marlene (Barry) Williams; grandchildren: Cheryl Betts, Kimberly (Larry) McConville, Robert (Bev) Williams, Scott Cochrane, Philip (Shelly) Cochrane, David Williams; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Several family members from the Ukraine also survive. Nettie's work at the Brandon General Hospital years ago was of great importance to her until her retirement in 1973. Her greatest enjoyment came from her countless hours of gardening and needlepoint. Funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Friday, March 24, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. Victor Yakowchuk of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
