Nel Lillian Strandberg
May 12, 1930 - August 17, 2026
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Nel Strandberg at Valleyview Care Centre on Monday, August 17, 2026 at the age of 96.
Her memory is lovingly cherished by her children; Duane (Elaine), Brenda (Ken) Johnson, Verna (Ed) Chambers, Darcy (Joy), and Nicole (Chris Kilmury) Bullee; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Nel and her late husband, Lorne, will be held at Memories Chapel on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to come and share memories with the family.
A private family interment will take place at the Brandon Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Nel may be made to Diabetes Canada, #401–1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6.
