KOMHER: It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Dear, newly found brother Murray Lionel Komher, on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at the Carberry Hospital, following a brief battle with stomach cancer. Murray was born December 8, 1950 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, later residing in Portage la Prairie and Carberry, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his Mother, Pearl. Left to mourn are his four younger sisters, Bonnie, Colleen, Brenda and Cindy as well as numerous nieces and nephews, his roommate Elvis, co-workers at Sprucedale Industries and friends with Brandon Community Options. Funeral service took place at Carberry United Church, Carberry, on Monday, September 9, 2013. Rev. Peggy Reid officiated. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg at a later date. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Murray may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7.
Murray will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed.
