It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our Dad, Grandpa & Great Grandpa who left us on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 89 years of age.

Merv is survived by daughter Patti, son Brad & Tanis, grandchildren Britney & Jeremy, Jensen & Bryce, Kara & Wyatt, 3 beautiful great granddaughters, Brynlee, Addison, & Maryn, Brother Ron (Val), Sister Doreen along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Merv is reunited with his beloved wife Shirley and his beautiful angel, great granddaughter Emma.

Dad was born to a legacy of farmers, his very soul made of wind, rain, soil and sun.
Dad is now doing what he loved the most… in the combine, loving the breeze on his face, with the deer strolling by & Mom waiting with open arms.

Rest easy our dear Dad.

A private graveside service was held at Rounthwaite Cemetery on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
