BALLANCE: Melva Florence (nee Brown) passed away at the age of 80 on Monday, July 26th, 2010 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Loving Mother of four daughters: Myrna (Dale) Fraser of Regina, Sharon (Darryl) Fordyce, Gail (Bob) McElroy, and Diana (Allan) West all of Brandon. There are seven wonderful grandchildren: Miranda & Riley Fraser, Stacey & Marisa Fordyce, Kendra McElroy, and Justin & Austin West, who will miss her dearly. She is survived by, her sister Harriet (Stan) Lewarne; sisters-in-law: Grace, Anita, Ruth, Donna and Barb Ballance and many nieces and nephews. Melva was predeceased by: her husband Doug; parents Mel and Velma Brown; sister, Margaret (Gordon) McRae and brothers-in-law: Ed, Dave, Keith, Barry and Shelly. The Memorial Service will be held at Central United Church, 327-8th Street on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 10:00am. A Private Family Interment will be held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined.
