Obituary

CLENDENNING: The death of Maxine Evelyn Clendenning occurred in the city on Sunday, October 15, 2006. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Wednesday evening, October 18, 2006 from 8:00 - 9:00 pm. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 2:30 pm. Arlene Robertson of First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon cemetery. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Maxine to the First Presbyterian Church Foundation, c/o First Presbyterian Church, 339-12th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 4M3 or to a charity of choice. CLENDENNING: The death of Maxine Evelyn Clendenning occurred in the city on Sunday, October 15, 2006. Maxine was born in Elva, Manitoba on March 8, 1934. Maxine worked for various businesses that included: Acklands, Barkers Insurance, Chamber of Commerce, the Police Department and Social Services Department for the City of Brandon. On October 14, 1957 Maxine married Don Clendenning. He was the love of her life. They had 45 happy years devoted to each other. Maxine was a special lady and unique in her own way. She had many close and dear friends and neighbours. Maxine lived her life with dedication, loyalty, kindness, thoughtfulness, and caring. She loved to talk politics and had a great sense of humour. When asked how she was doing she always replied ? half bad?he will be missed. Maxine will be lovingly remembered by sisters Carrol (John) Suter of Vernon, British Columbia; sister-in-law Octavia Dandy of Kamloops, British Columbia; special cousin Barbara (Cam) Moore of Brandon and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Don; father Lance Dandy; mother Agnes Dandy and brother Eric Dandy. The Funeral Ceremony was held at Memories Chapel on Thursday, October 19, 2006. Arlene Robertson of First Presbyterian Church officiated. Interment followed in the Brandon Cemetery. Special thanks to Arlene Robertson of First Presbyterian Church for her wonderful service; for the expert assistance provided by Memories Chapel; to the pallbearers; Smitty? Restaurant, for the delicious dainties after the service and to all our friends and families for their help and moral support. Your kindness will always be remembered.
