Matt Kotowich, age 93 years, of Brandon Manitoba, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Matt was born August 19, 1927 in Sapton, Manitoba where he spent his early years. Matt retired from Assiniboine Community College in 1988 as their Wood Working Instructor. He was a very talented man, whose passion in woodworking covered creating fine furniture to building their own log home. He was an avid outdoorsman who marveled at the beauty of nature and its wildlife. His favourite years were spent on their acreage outside of Brandon enjoying all that nature presented. Matt was predeceased by his wife Vera (married in 1974), and brother and sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory, stepsons Steven Budnarchuk and Donald Budnarchuk and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A private family graveside service will take place.
