MUMFORD: Mary Therese "Tracy" Mumford (nee Dobbin) of Sprucewoods, Manitoba passed away suddenly at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, March 5, 2000. Tracy was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on November 12, 1947 to Alex and Josephine Dobbin. Tracy grew up in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and met Don Mumford. They were married on March 24, 1972 in Dartmouth. In 1977 Don and Tracy became the proud parents of Donald Patrick Mumford. Tracy is survived by her husband Don; and son Don of Victoria, British Columbia and fiance, Jodi Wadas; twin sister Mary Elizabeth Cameron (Aubrey) of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and younger sister Alexis Sheppard (Tom) of Brandon; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her oldest sister Anne Greer; and a brother in infancy Walter. Tracy was an avid Brandon Wheat Kings fan and loved hockey in general. She will be sorely missed by all family and friends. Times of visitations will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2000 (today) from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2000 at 2:00 pm at the chapel with Rev. Barb Jardine officiating. Interment of Tracy's cremated remains will take place at a later date in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Flowers are gratefully declined.
