MASTER: Mary Master, beloved wife of Ed, mother of Jennifer (Tarr) and the late Shirley (Woolliscroft) passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of April 27, 2005 at Central Park Lodge. Mary was predeceased by her eldest daughter, Shirley Woolliscroft in 1992. She is survived by her husband Ed; daughter Jennifer; sons-in-law, Clay Woolliscroft and Tony Tarr; grandsons, Eric (Lynn) Woolliscroft, Mark (Tatney) Tarr and Brad (Janice) Tarr; and great grandchildren, Hunter and Jax Tarr, Talitha Tarr and Trinity Woolliscroft. Mary was born in England in 1926. She was a war bride, marrying Ed Master on March 24, 1946. In August of 1946, Ed returned to Canada and Mary followed three weeks later. They resided in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Ed and Mary returned to England in October of 1947 and lived in London for the next seven years. In 1953, Ed and Mary, along with their two daughters, returned to Canada and resided in Winnipeg where Ed served in the Canadian Armed Forces. Mary was an 'avid' knitter and made most of the clothes for her family. She was a soft-spoken, kind-hearted person who loved her family dearly. A Celebration of Mary's Life was held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, on Saturday, April 30, 2005 with Lt. Commander Rev. Fr. Douglas Ohs, Base Chaplain C.F.B / ASU Shilo officiating.
