LEWIS: Mary Loretta Lewis passed away peacefully on March 13, 2012, surrounded by her family. She had waged a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 7, 1931 in Bay Bulls, Newfoundland. She was predeceased by her husband Nathan William Lewis, and her sister, Mary Margaret Thompson. She is survived by her five children, Kate (Henry), Ken (Julie), Bonny (Jeff), Brenda and David (Cindy), and her six grandchildren, Dallas, Austin, Matthew, Meghan, Ryann and Ty. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
