She was involved with the Brandon Hills Busy Bees, and also taught Sunday School at the Brandon Hills. In earlier years she participated in tennis, baseball, track and field events, and gardening. Later in life she enjoyed reading, knitting, golfing, and walking. Pearl attended many of her grandchildren's sporting events. She and her husband loved to winter in Weslaco and Phoenix, making many long-term relationships. They appreciated family and friends dropping in.
