EDWARDS: Mary Isabella Edwards passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Riverdale Personal Care Home, Rivers, Manitoba, at the age of 81 years. Mary was born to David and Bessie on November 30, 1927, in the district of Tarbolton. Mary was raised on the family farm and remained there until the early 1960's before moving into Rivers. Mary worked for several years at the Rivers Theatre and the Rivers Legion. She attended bingo on a regular basis. In her spare time she also loved to knit and keep her nieces and nephews supplied with afghans, sweaters, mitts and scarves. Mary was predeceased by her parents; brothers: Dave, Bill (Eileen), and Jim. She is survived by sister-in-law Reenie; nephew Brent (Robyn); nieces: Shauna (Ken) Tait, Teresa (Karl) Eisler, Linda (Bill) Drake and numerous great nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held at Tarbolton Cemetery on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Glenna Beauchamp will officiate.
