Mark Michael Bruce Sutherland, age 41 years, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 21, 2020 in Winnipeg. Mark was born August 29, 1979 in Brandon, where he grew up playing hockey and getting into trouble with his friends. He spent most of his working life at Cando Rail Services; he loved being on the road together with his "extended family". Mark will be lovingly remembered for his humour, big smile and kindness (almost to a fault). His genuine caring attitude and willingness to help anyone out made him friends with everyone. Mark is survived by his wife Jennifer and their fur baby Charles; mother Genie (Robert) Barnaby; parents-in-law Harold and Carola Wiebe; sister-in-law Nicole (DJ) Hoefer and nieces Masyn and Avery; as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Mike. Mark will be laid to rest in a private family service at the Brandon Cemetery Columbarium.
