SHELVEY: Marjory "Pearl" Shelvey of Rapid City area passed away on Monday, November 29, 1999 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Pearl was born March 9, 1915 in the Glanton area where she spent her entire life. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank; three sons: Philip (Gwen) of Brandon, Jack (Bunny) of Summerland, BC and Ron (Noreen) of Winnipeg; six grandchildren: Susan (Stuart) Bertram of Brandon, Dennis (Monica) Shelvey, Sherry (Ron) Stewart all from the Penticton area, Karlin (Susi) Shelvey and Daryn Shelvey of Winnipeg; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Robert and John (Margaret) Phillips of the Forrest area, Gilbert (Ruth) Phillips of Rapid City, Mabel Lang of Spokane, Washington and Rena Cornish of Rapid City. Pearl was predeceased by a granddaughter, Marlene Shelvey of Summerland BC. Funeral Service was held at Memories Chapel on Friday, December 3, 1999. Interment was at the Humesville Cemetery.
