Marjorie was born January 7, 1914 at the family farm south of Holmfield, Manitoba to Charles and Minnie Stone. She married James McLarty on November 21, 1936. They raised a family of six and shared forty-six years together. Following Jim's death in 1982, Marjorie left Killarney and moved to Brandon to be near her daughters. She was predeceased by her husband Jim (1982); son Marvin (2008); sons-in-law John Grill (1997) and Wayne Warren (2002); her parents, siblings and many in laws. She will be greatly missed by her sons Willard (Wanda) of Nipawin, Saskatchewan, and Charles (Marion) of Vancouver, British Columbia; daughters Donalda Warren, Eileen McLarty, and Lorraine Grill all of Brandon, Manitoba and daughter-in-law Margaret McLarty of Margaret, Manitoba. She will also be missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were all greatly loved. Her special nephew Walter (Edith) Hobson of Winnipeg, Manitoba; special niece Doreen (Frank) Smith of Boissevain, Manitoba and families; sisters-in-law Sarah McLarty of Brandon, Hazel McLarty of Killarney, Manitoba and many nieces and nephews also survive.
