It is with sadness the family of Marion announces her passing on December 20, 2024, at the age of 96.

Marion was predeceased by her husband Gordon, son Brian, parents Irene and Clarence Staples, and brother Bob Staples.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda, grandsons Brody and Riley (Tucson), daughter-in-law Joanne Mackie, grandsons Brian-Lee (Kole, Brooke), Shawn (Callie, Ty, Jace), son Terry Mackie, sister-in-law Joan Mackie and family, sister-in-law Margaret Staples and family, brother and sister-in-law Doug and Margaret Ann Brolund and family. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was very independent and lived in her own apartment. Mom loved coffee time with residents and friends at odd fellows. Mom enjoyed watching curling and Blue Jays, bingo, crossword puzzles, and occasionally playing cards. We will miss her.

In lieu of flowers etc. just remember her with a smile. A memorial will be held at a later date.
