GREENIAUS: The death of Marie Therese Elizabeth Greeniaus, beloved wife of Derek and dear mother of Bryan, Krista and Sara and Nana to Dylan and Taryn, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, December 16, 2005. Prayers will be said at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at 7:00 pm. with Deacon John MacKenzie officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 10:30 am. Celebrant will be Fr. Leo Fernandes. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. GREENIAUS: The death of Marie Therese Elizabeth Greeniaus occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Friday, December 16, 2005. Marie was born on April 25, 1950 in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Marie came to Brandon in 1971 and has spent her career working as a seed technologist at various labs. She was very active in church activities and many seed analyst and community organizations. She was a member of UCT and served as Grand Councilor for Manitoba/Saskatchewan. Marie was also an active member of the "Waves of Hope" breast cancer dragon boat team. She was very involved in the "Run for the Cure" for breast cancer, being the top fundraiser every year since it began in Brandon. She will be lovingly remembered by: her husband, Derek; son, Bryan Greeniaus (grandson, Dylan) of Winnipeg; daughters, Krista Greeniaus (Curtis Erickson and granddaughter, Taryn) of Brandon and Sara (Jeff) Seeton of Burleson, Texas. She will also be deeply missed by: her mother, Ellie Lucinsky of New Zealand; brothers, Michael (Marea) of New Zealand; Tony (Joan), Tic (Teena) Simon (Debbie) all of Australia; sisters, Rosalie of New Zealand and Anne of England; brother-in-law, Gordon (Carolyn) of Victoria, BC and numerous nieces, nephew and extended families and many special friends around the world.
