STEPHEN: Marguerite Joy Stephen, of Brandon, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, February 15, 2004. Joy was born on January 26, 1924 in Caterham, Surrey, England, the daughter of Edward and Edith Rout. She was a British war bride and married Neil Stephen in England in 1941. She came to Canada in 1945 and has been a resident of Brandon since 1950. Joy is survived by: her children Norman (Marie) Stephen, Barrie (Sharon) Stephen, Wendy Stephen (Fred LaMarsh) all of Alberta, John (Judy) Stephen of Henderson, Nevada, Michael Stephen, Nelson Stephen of Brandon, Manitoba and Catherine Devine (Scott Martin) of Thompson, Manitoba; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and good friend, Winnie, of England. She was predeceased by: her husband Neil in 1999; brothers Keith Rout and Malcolm Rout; and grandson Malcolm. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Friday, February 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. John Dolloff will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery.
