It is with deep sadness that the family of Margaret Whitney announces her passing on May 1, 2026. Born in Onanole, Manitoba, Margaret built a fulfilling career around her passion for cooking and baking, sharing her talents generously with everyone she loved.

Margaret was a proud and dedicated member of the Salvation Army, giving her time, compassion, and steady support to the organization and the people it served. Her generosity was quiet but unwavering, and she lived her values through action.

Margaret cherished the moments spent with family and friends. She loved gathering people together, sharing stories, laughter, and of course, something warm from the oven. Her presence made every room feel more welcoming, and her kindness left a lasting imprint on all who knew her.

Margaret’s legacy lives on in the friendships she nurtured, and the love she shared so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army Church on Thursday, May 28th at 2:00pm.
