Obituary

THOMPSON: Peacefully, with the love of family by her side, mom, Margaret Audrey Thompson, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Friday, September 1, 2006. Margaret was born August 2, 1933 in Coulter, Manitoba. She worked most of her life in restaurants and was well known for her good cooking. People still talk about the huge meals she served her friends and family. She loved to cook and never turned anyone away from her table. "Now are you sure you've had enough?" was always heard. Her son Shawn summed it up, when he made a sign saying "McAudrey's Over A Million Served". Anyone who knew her knew her love for visiting. She didn't need to know you, for her to speak to you. Her door was always open to everyone. She actually brought a whole apartment block of strangers together to become friends by holding her annual Christmas dinner for them all. The love for her children and grandchildren will never be forgotten. She will be so sadly missed by the love of her life, her husband, Art, whom you always saw by her side; sons Doug, Keven (Barb), Ron (Charlene), Shawn (Tracy), Calvin (Tammy); daughter Debbie (Daryl); grandchildren Heath (Laurie), Jason (Sarah), Brandi, Bobbi-Jo, Kristie, Tannis, Jana-Lee, Lance, and Amara; great grandchildren Cody and Kali. Keeping with Margaret's wishes a Memorial Service and interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association-Westman Region, B-727 10th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 4G7.

"Rest well mom, "Our plates are full."
