STOUFFER: Margaret Agnes Stouffer, widow of the late Stanley Stouffer, passed away at her residence, Fairview Home on Monday, September 20, 2004. Margaret was born on March 25, 1907 in Holmfield, Manitoba. She spent her early childhood in Holmfield and later moved to a farm in the district. She attended Holmfield School as well as the Manitou Normal School. Margaret became a teacher and taught in numerous schools across southern Manitoba throughout her career. Her home and family were of utmost importance to her. She loved to spend her time knitting, quilting and doing other crafts as well as became part of the Presbyterian and later the United Church ladies groups. Margaret is survived by: her two sons Lew (Anita) Stouffer and Jim (Joyce) Stouffer; daughters Phyllis Laminman and Alice Laminman; daughters-in-law Muriel Stouffer and Joan Al-Molkey and four sisters-in law. There are seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. A special friend and room-mate, Myrtle More also survives. She was predeceased by; her husband Stanley Stouffer, sons Donald and Robert; sons-in-law Lloyd Laminman and Charlie Laminman; sister Isabel Moffat; brothers George, Jack, Jim, Stewart, Tom, and Wilfred McLarty; five sisters-in-law and six brothers-in-law. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Marvin Beaumont will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jack Stouffer, Randy Laminman, Ron Laminman, Lew Stouffer Jr., Daryn Laminman, Brent Laminman, Robert Stouffer and Joe Stouffer. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Margaret to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
