SANDERSON: The death of Margaret Sanderson, beloved wife of Lloyd, dear mother of Bob, Gerry, Scott and Patty, occurred on Saturday, April 23, 2005 in Brandon. Margaret was born on September 25, 1934 in Winkler, Manitoba, one of eight children born to William and Margaret Wiebe. Margaret spent her early years in Winkler and surrounding areas. Later she moved to Morris, Manitoba where she met and married George Third in 1955. After a short time spent living in Snow Lake, they moved to Brandon in 1963. Margaret worked in the food service industry her entire life. Though her roles were many ?m server to owner ? commitment to her work was tireless. It was while she had her own restaurant business that many of us were able to learn the value of hard work, and the importance of customer service. Marg? career path eventually brought her to employment at the Brandon Club. It was here that she met Lloyd Sanderson. They were married in 1988. Margaret was not only an employee of the Brandon Club, but she was also a life-member. She was very active and became the first (and so far only) female President of the Brandon Club. She was also one of the founding members of the Brandon Club Ladies Organization. Her work and the time spent volunteering at the Club were an important part of Margaret? life she forged many special friendships. During Margaret? last few years, she spent time living between Brandon and Moose Jaw, SK. While she was living in Moose Jaw she was diagnosed with cancer and proceeded to undertake some of her greatest and most difficult work. Considering the difficulty and the trauma that she endured, she never failed in her fight. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Lloyd of Brandon; sons, Robert Third of Brandon, Gerald (Diane) Third of Moose Jaw, Scott (Kelly) Third of Brandon; daughter, Patricia (Don) Inglis of Moose Jaw; sister, Anne ?ts?im) Letkeman of Winnipeg; stepchildren; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents; brothers, William, Frank, Jake and John; and her sisters, Sarah and Lil. The Ceremony to Celebrate Margaret? Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood of Central United Church will officiate.
