DARVILL: Margaret "Marg" Rose Darvill of Brandon, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, April 10, 2004 with her family at her side. She was born on June 29, 1939 and raised in the Brandon and Winnipeg areas. Marg married Jim Darvill and together they raised six children. She was kept busy trying to coordinatre the various activities that the family was involved in. Marg was also a competitive game player. Together they had a happy life until Jim passed away in 1996. After his passing Marg became active in St. Andrews Church. Through the church Marg made many special friends, one of them being Fred. He encouraged her to become more active in volunteer activities. Once again Marg's life was full and busy. Marg was a member of the Brandon Crocus Lions Club, Blind Bowling. President of the Parkview Senior Co-op Board, and St. Andrews Church N.S.F and W.A. Groups. She is survived by: her daughter, Debra (Brian) Rowney; sons, Rick (Judy) Darvill, Dennis (Kathy) Darvill, Derrick (Sheila) Darvill, Darren (Debbie) Darvill, and Darrell (Lauralee) Darvill; grandchildren, Curtis, Mitch, Kristina, Nickolas, Rachelle, Darren Adam, Michael, Matthew, Ryan, Dwayne, Megan, Robert, Brennen, Rebecca and Maxwell. Marg also leaves: special friend, Fred Nowitski; brother, Robert (Barbara) Foster; sisters, Joanne (Dave) Bell, Patricia (Josip) Kopita, Tina (Dan) Keely, Jan Lloyd (Jerry), Debbie (Jack) Dewit and their extended families. Marg was predeceased by: her loving husband, Jim Darvill; parents, John (Pauline) Foster, mother Gladys; infant grandson, Robert Glenn and Mom Scott. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 1:00 pm. The Rev. Paul Sakasov of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Curtis Rowney, Mitchell Darvill, Nickolas Darvill, Michael Darvill, Ryan Darvill and Darren Adam Darvill. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery.
