Obituary

KENLER: It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marcel Joseph Emile Kenler in Brandon, Manitoba on Friday, June 13, 2008. Marcel was born near Redvers, Saskatchewan on June 26, 1929 to Alexander and Julia Kenler (n??e Louis). On November 19, 1958 he married Paula Martin and in 1961 they moved to Brandon where Marcel began working in construction. He was predeceased by his father and mother Alexander and Julia, his oldest sister Eveline and an infant brother. Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife Paula; his three sons: Leonard (Kathy), Ronald (Melanie), Denis (Joyce); two daughters: Jacqueline (Barry) Tough and Christine (Cy) Longman; three sisters: Lucienne (Z??non) Pelletier, Jocelyne (Eugene) Cook, Lucille (Bob) Lemieux; a brother Ren?? (Rita), and the jewels in his crown, his grandchildren: Jennifer and Danielle Kenler, Lindsey and Logan Kenler, Amy and William Kenler, Ky and Brinna Tough and Cooper and Mary Longman. The Ceremony of Christian Burial was celebrated at Memories Chapel, on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Celebrant was Fr. Raju Madanu of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. Interment followed in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Marcel to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 3 - 824 18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 5B7 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, B - 727 10th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 4G7.
