HAMILTON: On Saturday, March 19, 2005, Mack Hamilton passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. He will be sadly missed by; his loving wife, Gwen, son. Darwin (Deb) and their children, Kaleigh and Shea; daughter-in-law, Del Hamilton and children, Brandi (Doug) Johnson, Shayne (Bobette), Robin (Charlene) and Cali. There are two great grandchildren, Jordan and Julie. Mack also leaves; sisters, Dorothy Chegwyn, Valetta Hogan, Jean (Frank) Barker, Marlene Taylor, Velma (Jack) Stevenson and a brother Dan (Mona) and their families. Mack was predeceased by; his parents, William and Euphemia, his oldest son, Rick and by brothers, David, Clifford (Ann), Keith (Bea) sisters, Evelyn (Alan) and Irene (Norman) and by brothers-in-law, Wilf Chegwyn and Lou Taylor. Mack was born in Vista, Manitoba on July 6, 1926. He married Gwen Hullick in 1951. They spent most of their free time in rinks and baseball diamonds with their two sons and grandchildren. Mack retired from Manitoba Pool Elevators and had been residing in Brandon for the past seventeen years. Mack was a kind and loving husband, father and a friend to everyone. He leaves behind many wonderful memories that touch the hearts of all who knew him. The Funeral Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 3:30 pm. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
