McLEOD: Lyell Lorne McLeod formerly of Brandon passed away in Duncan BC on February 9, 2008. A graveside and interment service to inter Lyell's remains and those of his wife, Dori Irene will be held at the Veterans' Section of the Brandon Cemetery on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 11:00 am. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330

McLEOD: Lyell Lorne - Feb. 13, 1923 - Feb. 9, 2008. Lyell passed away suddenly in Duncan, B.C. He was predeceased by his wife, Dori, his parents, Neil John and Marvel Francis and his sister Sheila Eileen Hall. He is survived by his sister, Merna Jean Moffat (Honeymoon Bay, B.C.) and numerous nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He had a long career with the Canadian Pacific Railway Company and enjoyed many retirement years with his wife, wintering in Chandler, Arizona. Both Lyell and Dori were life members of the Brandon Legion #247 and active members of the Brandon Royal Purple #138. He has requested that his ashes be buried with Doris in the Brandon Vets Cemetery. Service date to be announced.
