COWAN: The death of Lyall John Cowan of Brandon occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, May 30, 2004. Lyall was born in the R.M. of Blanchard, Manitoba on March 4, 1940 son of Gordon and Evelyn Cowan. He was employed as a heavy-duty truck driver in road construction for many years. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy and Shelly, living in British Columbia and by his sisters and brothers, Marlene Butterfield, Dawna Cowan and Gerald Cowan. His mother, Evelyn Cowan of Rivers also survives. Lyall was predeceased by his father, Gordon and by his son Randy. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at the Rivers United Church, Rivers on Friday, June 4, 2004 at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Glenna Beauchamp will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rivers cemetery.
