Louis Raymond "Louie" Lafontaine, born January 29, 1948, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 of cancer. In 1973, he went to ACC before joining Cardinal Signs in 1974. Louie was an outdoorsman, spending a lot of time hunting and fishing when he was younger. Then camping with Kim and friends and golfing whenever he could. He was glad to help others, generously giving of his time and attention. Louie was a fun loving man but with a serious side that led to his study of the bible and subsequent baptism as a Jehovah's Witness in 1988. He leaves behind his wife and soul mate of twenty-three years, Kimberly; his son Riel (Carrie, Gilmore) of Fargo, North Dakota and his brother Ovid "Lenard" (Debbie) of Winnipeg. A Memorial Service for Louis will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3434 Park Avenue.
