The family is saddened to announce Reta's passing on Thursday, August 22, 2002 at the Assiniboine Centre. (Lottie) Reta Green was born February 1, 1925 in the Riding Mountain , MB district, to John and Lavina Steele. She was predeceased by her husband; Albert, brothers; Reg (wife Fern), Norman, Gordon (wife Evelyn), sisters; Eileen Woloshen (husband Bill) and Hazel Woloshen (husband Peter), in-laws; Mabel and Henry Bullard, Bessie and Bill Gamble, Brenda Green, Cecil and Evelyn Linaker, and Dora and Mack McKenzie. She is survived by her sister; Merle (husband John) Wastle, sister-in-law Marge Steele, brothers-in-law; Cecil Green, and Les (wife Violet) Green. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Funeral service was held at Bethel Christian Assembly on Monday, August 26, 2002 with Pastors Mike Davis and Len Smith officiating. Interment was at the Brandon Cemetery. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Reta to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7.
