Obituary

KASPICK: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Nellie Kaspick at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Lisa was born November 10, 1965 to Benny and Elsie (nee Johnston) Kaspick. She received her education in Melita and moved to Alberta where she spent 38 years working. Her last job was at Kings Energy, where she met her loving partner, Garry Asuchak. They spent 10 years together enjoying camping, fishing, antique shopping, and summer holidays in Manitoba to visit her family. After her diagnosis, Lisa and Garry returned to Manitoba to be close to her family. Left to mourn her passing are her partner Garry Asuchak, brother Dennis (Frances Sinclair-Kaspick), sister Donna (Murray Smith), brother Garnet (Suzanne Richards), sister Leann (Grant Vickers) and nieces and nephews: Brandon (Ranae) Kaspick, Rikki Smith, Kristen Kaspick (Kevin Rittenger), Tyler (Ashleigh) Smith, Katie Smith, Joshua (Carla Drysdale) Vickers, Jorgen Kaspick, Jillian Kaspick and Alexis Vickers (Randy Brigden). Also left to cherish her memory are great nieces and great nephews: Carlie Kaspick, Raven Smith, Alyssa Kaspick, Presleigh Rittinger, London Rittenger, Layla Smith, Viola Smith, Remi Kaspick and Hunter Vickers. She had a great love for all kinds of animals and showed it in her love for her two fur babies Kasi and Kodi. Lisa was laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Portage la Prairie, followed by the Celebration of her Life at Memories Chapel in Brandon on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Donations in memory of Lisa may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.

God called your name so gently
That only you could hear
No one heard the footsteps
Of angels drawing near…
Softly from the shadows,
There came a gentle call,
You closed your eyes and went to sleep…
You quietly left us all.
