Linda Elaine Siebrecht, passed away on June 29, 2024, in Brandon, Manitoba.
Linda was born May 24, 1958, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, the second of five siblings. She spent her early years in several western Canadian cities, including Vancouver, Castlegar, Prince George, Maple Ridge, and Nelson, before returning to Medicine Hat where she attended high school.
After high school, Linda joined the Canadian Armed Forces to begin her training and career. Throughout her life, Linda took on various administrative and secretarial roles in businesses and government departments. However, her most remarkable work was that of a loving mother, grandmother, and wife, roles she embraced with her full heart and soul. In her later years, family and friends who were like family became her full-time occupation.
Linda was actively involved in several organizations, including the Brownies and Girl Guides of Canada, Job's Daughters, the Royal Canadian Legion, and the Brandon Darts Club. She had a passion for animals, both domestic and wild, and enjoyed camping, the outdoors, darts, travel, reading, cooking, and baking. Linda also loved gardening and took pride in creating a beautiful and welcoming home. She was known for her volunteer work and for being a source of unconditional and endless support to her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her husband, Oliver Siebrecht; son, Bill McIsaac; grandchildren, Brynn, Hayden, Savanna, and Skylar; siblings, Lori Rehill, Carol Hietanan, and Bill Wade; and her beloved pet, Sasha.
She was predeceased by her parents, Richard C. Wade and Mary Beatrice Wade, and her brother, Richard C. Wade Jr.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Linda's life which will take place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, Brandon, MB on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
