SCHESNUK: Lillian Mary Schesnuk of Brandon passed away on Thursday, December 2, 1999 in the city. She was born April 21, 1934 at Hubbard, Saskatchewan, daughter of John and Ann Navid. In 1945, the family moved to Forrest, Manitoba. Lillian attended schools in Forrest and St. Michael's Academy in Brandon. She worked at the Royal Bank and Bank of Montreal in the city. Lillian and Pete Schesnuk were married October 22, 1955. They raised their four children in Brandon. Her interests included spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and coin collecting. She also loved animals. After retiring, she and Pete travelled extensively throughout North America. Lillian is survived by her husband Pete; daughter Patricia Schesnuk of Brandon; sons: Mike of Neepawa and Richard "Rick" (Noreen) of Lloydminster, Alberta; and daughter Helen (John) St. Germaine of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. There are six grandchildren. One brother, William Navid, also survives. She was predeceased by her parents and one sister. The Ceremony to Celebrate Lillian's Life was held at Memories Chapel on Monday, December 6, 1999. Interment followed at the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined.
