Obituary

JOHNSON: Lillian Elizabeth Johnson, of Brandon, passed away at the Minnedosa Hospital, on Thursday, August 2, 2007. She leaves: her loving husband, Robert Johnson; son Montgomery Johnson, his wife Anna and granddaughter, Kathleen; daughter, Roberta MacLeod, husband Ken and children, Michael, Tommy and Shantel. She also leaves a son-in-law, Jochen Strebe and grandson, Corey. Lillian's brother, John Sisk, sister-in-law Rogene Sisk and sister, Florence Bancur and sister-in-law, Nell Siskewich also survive. There are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 2:30 pm. The Rev. John Nesbitt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon cemetery. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Lillian to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200 17th Street East, Brandon, MB R7A 7M6. Johnson: Sadly on August 2, 2007, Lillian Elizabeth Johnson (Cieckiewicz) was taken to live with her Lord Jesus. She left to mourn her passing her loving husband and best friend Robert. She is survived by her son Montgomery (Anna) Morienville, Alberta, daughter Roberta MacLeod (Ken),
Edmonton, grandchildren Michael, Thomas, Shantel MacLeod, Edmonton; Kathleen Johnson, Morienville; Cory Strebe, Winnipeg. Lillian was predeceased by her daughter Gloria Ann Strebe (Jochen) in 1977. She is also survived by her sister Florence Bancur, brother John Sisk (Rogene), sister-in-law Nel Siskewich, Wilma Siskewich and Ann Gracey. Many nieces and nephews. Lillian was born November 12, 1929 to Andrew and Lena Cieckiewicz in Brandon. She grew up and attended school in Brandon. She met her loving husband Robert in 1951, they married January 17, 1952. They lived in Shilo, Toronto, Oromocto, NB, and in Brandon. Lillian was a loving and devoted wife and mother and was a member of Trinity United Church, Brandon. She had a
saying, "If you can't say anything good about someone, say nothing". She loved the car trips to Edmonton to see her children and grandchildren. She also loved her summer vacations in Clear Lake. Lillian only wished good things to happen to her family and friends. Funeral services were held on August 8, 2007, Rev. John Nesbitt carried out the service. Interment was in
Brandon Cemetery.
Deeply missed every minute of the day by her husband, lover and friend - Robert.
