Leonard Mears passed away at Rideau Park Personal Care Home on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the age of 53 years.

Leonard will be lovingly remembered by son Lukas; brothers James (Sandra) and Kelly (Marie); and long-time friend Ed Hillis and wife Lori; as well as nieces and nephews. Leonard was predeceased by grandparents John and Carrie Sytnyk, father Harold, mother Shirley, stepfather Keith and sister Carol.

Leonard's biggest passion was driving semis, and in later life, watching many semis roll by. Leonard lived his life his way and to the fullest right to the end.

A time of viewing will take place at Memories Chapel, 330 – 18th Street North, Brandon on Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
