BULLION: The death of Leona Gertrude Bullion of Fairview Home, occurred at her residence on Saturday, October 22, 2005. Leona was the beloved mother of Judy, Ken, Lois, Trudy and Lori. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held at Memories Chapel on Tuesday evening, October 25, 2005 from 7:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at 11:30 am. The Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood of Central United Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon cemetery. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Leona to a charity of their choice. Complete obituary information will follow. BULLION: Leona Gertrude Bullion (nee Gillespie) passed away at her residence, Fairview Home, on Saturday, October 22, 2005. Leona was born in Sidney, MB on August 2, 1931, the daughter of Arnold and Gertrude Gillespie. She lived in Sidney until the age of 8 years when the family moved to Dryden, ON. Leona attended school in Sidney in her early years, then attended Dryden Elementary and Dryden High School. Leona met Frank Bullion in Dryden and they were married on September 18, 1951. She started working at Wrights Grocery Store in Dryden, then she was a waitresses/kitchen help at the old bus depot in Brandon, worked at Brandon Livestock in the cafeteria and retired from Hillcrest Place Dietary. She was a member of the Army, Navy and Airforce. Leona enjoyed fishing with her husband, Frank and sister, Lois (Lloyd) Aube. She always loved to be surrounded by her family. Leona will be lovingly remembered by: her children, Judy, Ken (Alice), Lois, Trudy (Mike), and Lori (Ed); grandchildren, Darceen (Clark), Brock (Gwen), Jan (Chris), Danny, Robbie, Joey, Kristina (Paul), Kyle, Kim, Gregory and Marissa. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren, Derek, Austin, Ethan, Alicia, Iesha and Isaac; sisters, Lois Aube and family, Brandon, and Phyllis (Jim) Salmon and family of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law, Gwen Gillespie and family of Winnipeg, Hilda Bullion of Dryden and Clare Bullion of Brandon. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; parents, Arnold and Gertrude Gillespie; brothers, Irvin, Jim and Marley Gillespie. The Funeral Ceremony was held at Memories Chapel on Wednesday, October 26, 2005. Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood officiated. Pallbearers were grandsons, Brock McEwing, Danny Fifi, Robbie Fifi and Gregory Bullion. Interment followed in the Brandon Cemetery.
