REBOUL: The death of Leon "Leo" Arthur Reboul, beloved husband of Gerry, dear father of Darrell, Sherrill and Shennen occurred at his residence in the Jackfish District on Sunday, May 15, 2005. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, 327-4th Street, Brandon on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Celebrant will be Fr. Leo Fernandes. Flowers are gratefully declined. REBOUL: The death of Leon "Leo" Arthur Reboul occurred suddenly at his residence in the Jackfish District on Sunday, May 15, 2005. Born to Emile and Aldina (nee Dupas) he was baptized Leon Arthur Reboul in Toutes-Aides, Manitoba, a french community north of St. Rose Du Lac on Lake Manitoba. Leo attended grade school in Toutes-Aides and high school at Ste. Rose. He met Genevieve "Gerry" Chastko in Brandon, and they married in June of 1955 at Jackfish, Manitoba and settled in Brandon where they raised their three children. Leo will be lovingly remembered by his wife Gerry; children, Darrell (Janis) Reboul, Sherrill (Brian) Creasy and Shennen (Robin) Reboul. Leo was Grandpa and "Papa" to his eight wonderful grandkids: Joleen, Clayton and Noelle Reboul, Riley, Selena and Daylon Creasy, Samantha and Hunter Reboul. He is also survived by his sisters, Aline Bretecher of Dauphin and Lea Sologuk of Sudbury, ON; as well as many nieces and nephews. Leo was predeceased by his parents, Emile and Aldina Reboul; brother John and sister Rolande. Leo was a lumberjack, labourer and then settled into a career of sales for 40 years. He retired in 1989 at the age of 60 years and spent his time at the small hobby farm he and Gerry bought, the Chastko homestead and Gerry's birthplace at Jackfish, MB. Leo loved to play pool, snowmobile and earned many trophies in bowling. He was a member of the Associated Canadian Travelers as well. Those that came to know "Leo" will remember a man who had a zest for life and spent many hours around the campfires with friends and family entertaining with his guitar and singing old country western songs. Their family then started with Darrell in 1962, Sherrill in 1964 and Shennen in 1967.
