CAMPBELL: (Lee-Anne January 31, 1957 - September 29, 2011) It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Lee-Anne. She was a great wife, a great Mom, and fantastic Grandma and the best friend you could ever have. Lee-Anne grew up in Brandon, attending J.R. Reid School, Vincent Massey High School, where Bill and Lee-Anne first started going out. They shared thirty nine wonderful years together. While getting her teaching degree at Brandon University she was coordinator for the first Operation Identification program through the Brandon Police Service. She then worked with Kullbergs Furniture Store through graduation and until she received a teaching position with the Brandon School Division. Lee-Anne spent eight years at Betty Gibson School teaching grade 3 and then changed to a grade 1 classroom as she moved to J.R. Reid School. Most of Lee-Anne's career was spent at J.R. Reid, where she went on to become a specialized Reading Recovery teacher and an education leader. She spent her last couple of years teaching at George Fitton School until she was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Lee-Anne and Bill were blessed with two beautiful grandchildren, Marlee and Myles, who became a main focus in Lee-Anne's last years. She loved and adored her grandchildren, as she did with her two children, Leah and P.J. Her positive, bubbly attitude was and is an inspiration for all who knew her. Even in passing, Lee-Anne had prepared the family for that day, and even gave detailed guidelines for her Celebration of Life ceremony and notes to guide her family for years to come. Lee-Anne was predeceased by her father, Peter Felix Geiler, father-in-law, James Harold Campbell, and nephew, Kristopher Campbell. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Bill Campbell, daughter, Leah Campbell (Cory Sobchuk), son, P.J. Campbell, grandchildren, Marlee and Myles Sobchuk, mother, Ollie Pelletier (Gerry), brother, Wally Geiler (Deb), sisters, Bev Romanik (Steve) and Phyllis Olson (Jon), mother-in-law, Eva Campbell, bother-in-law, Kerry Campbell (Carrie), as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends. We love you and will miss you with all our hearts. We will remember you always and will treasure your inspiration, wisdom and love. To the love of my life, Mom, Grandma, Mrs. Campbell, Lee-Anne, Thumper...we love you! A Celebration of Lee-Anne's life was held at Memories Chapel on Friday, October 7, 2011.
