COUPLAND: The death of Laverne Andrew Coupland occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, July 29, 2006. Laverne was born on July 13, 1945 in Brandon and raised in the Minto district. He received his education in Margaret. Laverne farmed in Minto area prior to moving to Brandon where he was employed with Sherwood Lawn Care for seventeen years. Laverne is survived by: daughters, Jeannine Meincke, Rhonda Hunter and a sister Margaret Jean Schreiner also a companion, Connie Lockhart. Laverne was predeceased by: parents Fred and Rachel Coupland; a brother Mervin Coupland and a sister Helen Abbott. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at the Minto Cemetery on Friday, August 4, 2006 at 1:30 pm.
