Kimmy Ernie Brown of the Canupawakpa Dakota Nation passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. Kimmy will be lovingly remembered by his sons Teenan McKay, Shayden McKay and Joey Eagle; daughter Vanessa Eagle; parents Ernest Bell and Cecelia Brown; brothers Raymond, Wilson, Glen and Ernest; and sisters Eva, Bertha, Doreen and Marina. Traditional Wake will be held at Canupawakpa Community Complex on Sunday, December 12, 2021 beginning at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Canupawakpa Community Complex on Monday, December 13, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Canupawakpa Roman Catholic Cemetery.
