The death of Kenneth Lynn Nichol of Brandon occurred in Brandon on August 12, 2002. Lynn is survived by his two sons, Todd and Bruce, his parents, Bruce and Muriel Nichol, a sister, Brenda (Greg) Clark, a niece, Angela (Bryan) Shurb. A private graveside ceremony will be held at the Hamiota Cemetery, Hamiota, Manitoba. Complete obituary information will follow. With deepest sorrow we announce the death of Kenneth Lynn Nichol on August 12, 2002 at his residence in Brandon. Lynn was born in Prince Rupert, B.C. on December 5, 1941, but spent most of his life in Brandon. Lynn is survived by his two sons; Todd (Ankha) and granddaughter, Bobbi; Bruce (Michelle) and grandchildren, Richard and Kate all of Ontario. Also surviving Lynn are: his parents, Bruce and Muriel Nichol; his sister, Brenda (Greg) Clark and niece, Angela (Bryan) Shurb; uncle and aunt, Cec and Wilma Nichol and several cousins. Lynn will be greatly missed by close friends, Eric and Verna Stewart, Bob and Bea (Cookie) Allan and their families and many others whose friendship he treasured. A private service took place on August 17, 2002 at the Hamiota Cemetery with Rev. Donald Hudson officiating. According to his wishes, Lynn was interred close to his beloved grandparents, Ralph and Gladys Hyndman.
