MOOREHEAD: The death of Kenneth Thomas Moorehead occurred at his residence, Hillcrest Place on Tuesday, June 14, 2005. Ken was born on June 24, 1936 in Brandon, the son of William and Lottie Moorehead. He was raised at the Douglas Airport and helped farm with his dad. Ken attended Derby School in the Douglas area. After he finished school he worked both in construction and mechanical, as a bus driver, farmer and farm hand for Bar 5. He was involved with the Douglas Rink and a member of the Manitoba Agricultural Museum. Ken enjoyed curling and was the winner of the Western Manitoba Annual High School Bonspiel. He is survived by his wife, Alice Bocek; sons, Brett (Brenda), Bradley, Patrick, Troy and Kerry (Joanne); grandchildren; and his sisters, Diane de Delley and Linda de Delley. Ken was predeceased by his father, William Roberts Moorehead and mother, Carlotta Isabel "Lottie" Moorhead (nee Boles). The Graveside Ceremony will be held at the Madford Cemetery, Douglas, Manitoba (2 miles north of highway #1 and 340, + mile west) on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. (Please note change in service time.)
