FOORD: The death of Kenneth James (Jim) Foord occurred Saturday, May 8, 2010 at his residence Fairview Home. Jim was born June 9, 1929 at the family homestead, near Trossachs, Saskatchewan. He was the youngest of eight living children. When his four brothers went to war Jim left school so that he could help his father on the farm. Jim drove semi trucks for a living and loved the open road. He received awards for his safe driving. Jim is survived by his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Eunice, parents William and Veronica, as well as brothers and sisters. In honouring Jim's wishes cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Manson Cemetery, Manson, Manitoba. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
