GLENNIE: The death of Keith Edward Glennie, beloved husband of Sarah, occurred at his residence on Sunday, May 28, 2006. The Ceremony to Celebrate Keith's Life will be held at Knox United Church, 451-18th Street, on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Harvey Hurren will officiate. A private family interment will be held at the MacDonald Cemetery, MacDonald, Manitoba. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Keith to the Canadian Cancer Society - Manitoba Division, Lung Cancer Research, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7. GLENNIE: Keith Edward, beloved husband of Sarah, son of the late Edward and Florence Glennie of MacDonald, Manitoba, passed away quietly on May 28, 2006 at his residence in Brandon. Keith is survived by his sons and stepdaughters Craig Len (Angela), Drew Edward (Rhonda), Andrea Wardle (Rob) and Jennifer Jonasson (Bob) and brother Robert (Donna) of St. Albert, Alberta. Keith loved his six grandchildren dearly and was always ready with hugs, kisses and smiles when they arrived for a visit. Keith grew up in MacDonald, Manitoba and later lived in Winnipeg, Minnedosa and Brandon. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba he went on to be a Chartered Accountant. He worked for the Provincial Government at his time of passing and will be missed by all he taught at the various educational venues, in Brandon and throughout the province. Keith was a member of Masons, Rotary, and Shriner's clubs and served on many boards in Brandon. Keith was a people person and will be sorely missed by all he knew and loved. The families would like to thank all their friends for their kindness, visits, cards, food and flowers during this difficult time in their lives. A special thank you goes to Dr. N. Carpenter and the teams of nurses on 300, ICU, Home Care and Physiotherapy. All were willing to go above and beyond to care for Keith during his stay at BRHC. Additional thanks to the employees of Ready Oxygen Ltd. who responded quickly when they were needed. A memorial service was held June 1, 2006 at Knox United Church in Brandon. Rev. Harvey Hurren officiated. Private family interment was held at the MacDonald Cemetery, MacDonald, Manitoba.
